Outlook Express
1. Open Outlook Express
2. In the Tools menu, select Accounts...
3. Click the Add button, then select Mail...
4. In the Display Name text box, type your full name
5. Click Next >
6. In the E-mail address text box, type your Omniconnect e-mail address (e.g. johnsmith@omni.net.au)
7. Click Next >
8. In the Incoming mail server text box, type mail.omni.net.au
9. In the Outgoing mail server text box, type mail.omni.net.au
10. Click Next >
11. In the Account name text box, type your Omniconnect username or email address (e.g. johnsmith@omni.net.au)
12. Click the Remember password check box so that it has a tick
13. In the Password text box, type your Omniconnect password
14. Click Next >
15. Click Finish
16. The new account created is now highlighted. Click Properties on the right hand side
Select the Servers tab and place a tick in the check box next to "My Server Requires Authentication".
17. Click on the Advanced tab and in the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) box change the 25 to 587
18. Click OK and then Close
Outlook 2000
1. Open Outlook 2000
2. In the Tools menu, select Accounts...
3. Click the Add button, then select Mail...

9. In the User name text box, type your Omniconnect username or email address (e.g. johnsmith@omni.net.au)
10. Click the Remember password check box so that it has a tick
11. In the Password text box, type your Omniconnect password
12. Click on the button titled "More Settings"
13. Click on the Tab entitled "Outgoing Server" and tick the box entitled "My Outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication"
14. Click on the Advanced tab and in the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) box change the 25 to 587
15. Click Ok
16. Click Next >
17. Click Finish
Outlook 2007
1. Open Outlook 2007
2. In the Tools menu, select Accounts Settings...
3. Click the New button...
4. Select the Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP option
5. Click Next >
6. Tick the box titled "Manually configure server settings or additional server types" and Click Next >
7. Check "Internet E-Mail" and Click Next >
8. Enter your name in the appropriate text box
9. In the E-mail address text box, type your Omniconnect e-mail address (e.g. johnsmith@omni.net.au)
10. Choose POP3 for Server Information
11. In the Incoming mail server text box, type mail.omni.net.au
12. In the Outgoing mail server text box, type mail.omni.net.au
13. In the Account name text box, type your Omniconnect username or email address (e.g. johnsmith@omni.net.au)
14. Click the Remember password check box so that it has a tick
15. In the Password text box, type your Omniconnect password
16. Click on the button titled "More Settings"
17. Click on the Tab entitled "Outgoing Server" and tick the box entitled "My Outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication"
18. Click on the Advanced tab and in the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) box change the 25 to 587
19. Click Ok
20. Click Next >
21. Click Finish
22. Click Close
Apple Mail
1. Open Mail
2. Go to the Mail menu and select Preferences...
3. Select the Accounts tab
4. Select the '+' button on the bottom left to add a new account
5. Enter your Name, Email Address, Password and select Continue
6. Select POP for Account Type and enter a description of the mail account such as 'OMNIconnect Mail'
7. Next to Incoming Mail Server enter "mail.omni.net.au", followed by your email address as your username, and then password.
8. Select Continue
9. Under Outgoing Mail Server, enter 'mail.omni.net.au' in both the Description and Outgoing Mail Server
10. Place a tick in the Use Authentication tick box, and then re-enter your email address and password.
11. Click Continue
12. Click Create
13. Click Close
Apple iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch
1. Go to Settings, select Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
2. Then tap Add account...of type Other.
3. Then tap Add Mail Account
4. Enter your OMNIconnect email account info and hit Save.
5. Select IMAP or POP3* and fill in the rest of your access details, using mail.omni.net.au as the hostname for both the incoming and outgoing mail servers.
6. Select POP for Account Type and enter a description of the mail account such as 'OMNIconnect Mail'
7. Tap Save and your phone should now try to connect to the server.
If your phone displays a message asking to connect without SSL, you can pick Yes to finish setting up your account. Either way, your setup is now complete.
*If you use POP3 at another location, such as your PC, then your mail will download to that PC, and may not be available on the iPhone. This will depend on the settings on your PC.
Thunderbird
1. Open Thunderbird.
2. Go to the Tools menu and select Account Settings.
3. Open the "Account Actions" and select "Add Mail Account"
4. Enter your Name, Email Address, Password and select Continue
5.Your account settings will automatically be detected and entered.
6. Click "Create Account".
7. Your account will be verified and added to the Accounts form
If you have selected "IMAP" as your preferred mailbox format, we recommend that you install the "Display Quota" extension, available through the Add-Ons feature of Thunderbird. However, due to the nature of Add-ons for Thunderbird and Firefox, OMNIconnect is unable to offer technical support for this feature.

1. Follow the directions in this video, using the OMNIconnect mail server settings
