Directions for setting up Windows XP to Dial Omniconnect

1. In the Start menu, select Control Panel (if you are in the Classic View, in the Start menu select Settings, and then select Control Panel)
2. Click Network and Internet Connections (if you are in the Classic View, go to the next step
3. Click Network Connections
4. On the left, click Create a new connection
5. Click Next >
6. Click the Connect to the Internet radio button
7. Click Next >
8. Click the Set up my connection manually radio button
9. Click Next >
10. Click the Connect using a dial-up modem radio button
11. Click Next >
12. In the ISP Name text box, type Omniconnect
13. Click Next >
14. In the Telephone number text box, type the telephone number of your local Omniconnect access point. Do not include the area code. As supplied to you, these numbers are as follows:

    Metro: 86633700 – If Melbourne is a local call
    Regional: 0198 333 142 - If Melbourne is NOT a local call

15. Click Next >
16. In the User name text box, type your Omniconnect username (such as janesmith)
17. In the Password text box, type your Omniconnect password
18. In the Confirm password text box, type your Omniconnect password again
19. Click Next >
20. Click the Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop check box so that it has a tick
21. Click Finish
